    Run for the bones

Paul Sereno, Professor in Organismal Biology & Anatomy, will compete in the Chicago Marathon Sunday, Oct. 24. Sereno is running the marathon to raise money to reconstruct a new species of sauropod (long-necked) dinosaur that measures 60 feet long. Sereno also is one of 14 celebrities competing in the Chicago Marathon Celebrity Challenge. Every vote he gets at the Celebrity Challenge Web site helps raise additional money to build the dinosaur. To make a pledge or to vote, consult Sereno’s marathon Web site at http://www.dinorun.org.
