James D. McCawley Memorial service

The Department of Linguistics will hold a memorial service in tribute to James D. McCawley, the Andrew MacLeish Distinguished Service Professor in Linguistics and East Asian Languages & Civilizations, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, in Room 122 of the Social Science Research Building.

A reception in Classics 10 will follow the service.

Professor McCawley died suddenly April 10.
