Cars parked illegally on Main Quad will be ticketed, towed

To comply with fire regulations, the University will begin to strictly enforce the official no-parking policy for the Main Quadrangle. This enforcement, which will begin Monday, Oct. 11, will mean more aggressive ticketing and towing of vehicles parked in no-parking zones.

Vehicles illegally parked on the Main Quadrangle, including the Harper and Hull quads, will be ticketed and towed for a total cost of $140.

Service vehicles with valid passes will be allowed to park in the Harper and Hull quads only. Service vehicle passes are available at the University Parking Office, located on the second floor of the Young Building, 5555 S. Ellis Ave.

The Parking Office will have new signs in place before this policy begins.
