A humorous tribute

The Division of the Humanities recently honored Philip Gossett, Dean of the division, with a tribute opera written by Patricia Brauner, Ted Cohen and Ingrid Rowland. Under the musical direction of Barbara Schubert, Senior Lecturer in Music, a group of Gossett’s colleagues performed the opera The Apotheosis of Don Filippo. Gossett will end his term as Dean of the division this year.
