    The Scientific American Frontiers special “Life’s Little Questions” will delve into the everyday aspects of science with host Alan Alda and scientists from around the country in its next episode. Joining Alda will be Chicago physicists Sidney Nagel and Heinrich Jaeger.

    During the show, Nagel and Jaeger will explain how seemingly trivial questions about coffee spills and mixed nuts can lead to more complex areas of study.

    The program will air at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, on PBS.
