    Walsh remembered

The 10th anniversary of Classics Professor George B. Walsh’s death was remembered Friday, Jan. 29, with the annual lecture in his name as well as the dedication of a sculpture in his honor. “Agamemnon and Iphigeneia” was sculpted by the educator’s father, Bernard Walsh. University of California at Berkeley Professor Leslie Kurke delivered the George B. Walsh Lecture at the Franke Institute for the Humanities. The dedication followed in the Joseph Regenstein Library, where the sculpture is installed on the fifth floor
