    Provost Stone to speak on Master Plan

    at staff town-hall meetings University Provost Geoffrey Stone will speak on the campus Master Plan at two staff town-hall meetings scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4, and Monday, Nov. 30.

    The first meeting will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in Cummings Life Science Center, Room 101, 920 E. 58th St.; the second meeting will be from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Breasted Hall in the Oriental Institute, 1155 E. 58th St. Both town-hall meetings are open to all University staff members.

    Last spring, the University embarked upon a comprehensive master planning process for only the fourth time in its history.

    The Master Plan will help guide the University in the construction of a number of new facilities, including a new athletics center and swimming pool, improved facilities for the Research Institutes, new undergraduate dormitories and new research laboratories for the biological and physical sciences.
