    Accolades

    Ruth Ramsey, Chief of Neuroradiology at the University, who also is a widely published neuroradiologist, was elected vice president of the American College of Radiology during the organization's annual meeting in Pittsburgh.

    A member of the ACR since 1976, Ramsey has served on the ACR's Board of Chancellors since 1993.

    Ramsey's work has been published in such journals as The New England Journal of Medicine, The Journal of the American Roentgen Ray Society and The American Journal of Neuroradiology. She is also the author of three books on neuroradiology with a fourth due out in November. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Ramsey received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.
