Supporting United Way charities as simple as making a pledge, volunteering time

Take a break - a humanity break that is.

Clearly, by helping others we help ourselves. More than 2.5 million metro-Chicago residents will receive support through United Way agencies that provide emergency shelter, food, literacy training, crisis intervention and aid for victims of domestic violence.

By supporting the United Way campaign with a donation to the charity of your choice, you can significanty improve the lives of those who are less fortunate than many people. It sounds easy, and it is easy. Completing the pledge card will take less than a minute, but a pledge will give back needed support all year long.

The University "Giving to Help" Campaign needs campaign volunteers. To be a campaign volunteer, call Karen Roselli, Campaign Coordinator at (708) 877-1726.
