    More than 35,000 books at annual library sale

    The University Library will sell more than 35,000 duplicate and discarded volumes at its public book sale, to be held from Tuesday, May 12, through Saturday, May 16, in Regenstein 120. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

    Prices will begin at $20 for hardbacks, $10 for paperbacks and $3 for maps; the next day they will drop to $9 for hardbacks, $4 for paperbacks and $1 for maps. The prices will decrease further each day of the sale. Most items left unsold by the final day will be available free.
