    Director of Community Affairs appointed

During her tenure with the Chicago Department of Housing, from 1992 to 1997, Malunda was responsible for developing new housing initiatives and helped to create Mayor Daley's Five-Year Affordable Housing Plan, a $750 million commitment to develop housing in the city. She received her B.A. in 1984 from Spelman College and her M.B.A. in 1990 from Northwestern's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
