Help needed to record books for blind, dyslexic

Volunteers are needed to record textbooks, from elementary school through graduate school level, during Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic's National Record-A-Thon, to be held from Monday, April 20, through Sunday, April 26. Experts and professionals to read textbooks pertaining to specialty areas, such as math, science, accounting, literature and philosophy, are particularly needed.

During the Record-A-Thon, volunteers will meet at the organization's Hyde Park Studio, located on campus in Hinds 59B, to join others nationwide in adding more than 200 textbooks to the national library. The library currently has more than 77,000 titles in its collection.
