    Book sale at Library Oct. 27-Nov. 1

    Books for sale, cheap to free! The University Library is selling more than 30,000 duplicate and discarded volumes at its public book sale, to be held from Monday, Oct. 27, through Saturday, Nov. 1, in Regenstein 120. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

    Prices will begin at $20 for hardbacks, $10 for paperbacks and $3 for maps; the next day they will drop to $10 for hardbacks, $5 for paperbacks and $2 for maps. The prices will decrease further each day of the sale. Most items left unsold by the final day will be available free. For more information, call Scott Perry at 702-8734.
