Convocation: Here's the who, when and whereThe schedule for the 448th Convocation is as follows: First session, Friday, June 13, 10 a.m.: Irving B. Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies, Law School, School of Social Service Administration. Includes presentation of honorary degree. Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Second session, Friday, June 13, 3 p.m.: Divinity School; Humanities, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences divisions; Pritzker School of Medicine; Master of Liberal Arts degree recipients. Includes presentation of honorary degrees and graduate teaching awards. Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Third session, Saturday, June 14, 10 a.m.: College. Includes presentation of honorary degree and presentation of Quantrell Awards for undergraduate teaching. Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Fourth session, Sunday, June 15, 3 p.m.: Graduate School of Business. Harper Quadrangle. In the event of inclement weather, Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Call 702-2513 after 8 a.m. Sunday to verify location. Degree candidates will assemble in Bartlett Gymnasium, 5640 S. University Ave. Candidates not present in the gym at least 45 minutes before the ceremonies begin will not be permitted to march. Those who have ordered gowns may pick them up in the South Lounge on the second floor of Reynolds Club between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. today, June 12; between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, June 13; between 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. Saturday, June 14; and between noon and 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 15. The chapel doors will open 45 minutes before each ceremony begins. The third session (College) will be televised live in Mandel Hall, Breasted Hall and Max Palevsky Cinema. In case of rain, the fourth session (GSB) will be televised live in Mandel Hall, Breasted Hall and Max Palevsky Cinema. Admission to all locations for all ceremonies is by ticket only.
