    Survey sent to faculty members

All University faculty members with appointments in the College have received surveys to help identify the classroom demands and expectations for written and oral communication skills. The survey is being conducted by the Academic Skills Assessment Program (ASAP) of the University's Student Counseling & Resource Service.

The goal of the survey is to determine appropriate support on campus for English speakers of other languages (ESOL). At least 10 percent of all University students are non-native speakers of English.

Faculty members with appointments in the College who have not received a survey should call 702-9800.
