    Autumn Convocation Dec. 13

    Autumn Convocation ceremonies will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Approximately 400 degrees will be conferred.

    Jean Bethke Elshtain, the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Professor in the Divinity School, will present the Convocation address, "Our Dangerous World."

    Degree candidates should enter the chapel through the east carriage door and proceed to the basement. Candidates not present in the basement at 2:15 p.m. will not be permitted to march. The main doors of the chapel will open at 2:15 p.m.; no guests will be admitted before then.

    Tickets for Convocation must be claimed in person by degree candidates; they may be picked up beginning Monday, Dec. 9, at the Dean of Students' Office for the candidate's division or school or at the College Advisers' Desk. Those who have ordered gowns may pick them up in the south lounge on the second floor of Reynolds Club between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, and between 8:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.
