    Schedule for Convocation ceremonies

    The schedule for the 443rd Convocation ceremonies will be as follows: _ FIRST SESSION, Friday, June 7, 10 a.m.: Irving B. Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies, Law School, School of Social Service Administration. Rockefeller Memorial Chapel.

    _ SECOND SESSION, Friday, June 7, 3 p.m.: Divinity School; Humanities, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences divisions; Pritzker School of Medicine; Master of Liberal Arts degree recipients. Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Includes presentation of honorary degrees and graduate teaching awards.

    _ THIRD SESSION, Saturday, June 8, 10 a.m.: College. Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Includes presentation of Benton Medal for Distinguished Public Service and presentation of Quantrell Awards for undergraduate teaching.

    _ FOURTH SESSION, Sunday, June 9, 2 p.m.: Graduate School of Business. Harper Quadrangle. In the event of inclement weather, 3 p.m. in Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Call 702-8197 after 11 a.m. Sunday to verify location.

    Degree candidates will assemble in Bartlett Gymnasium, 5640 S. University Ave. Candidates not present in the gym at least 45 minutes before the ceremonies begin will not be permitted to march.

    Those who have ordered gowns may pick them up in the South Lounge on the second floor of Reynolds Club between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. today, June 6; between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 7; between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8; and between 11 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 9.

    The chapel doors will open 45 minutes before each ceremony begins. The first session (Harris School, Law School, SSA) will be televised live in Mandel Hall; the third session (College) will be televised live in Mandel Hall, Breasted Hall and Max Palevsky Cinema. Admission to all locations for all ceremonies is by ticket only.
