Caption: Lab Schools centennial

The Laboratory Schools' centennial celebration kicked off Jan. 21, as a capacity crowd of parents, students, alumni and other friends of the schools filled Rockefeller Memorial Chapel to sing songs from the past 100 years; a reception with 100 birthday cakes followed at the Lab Schools. Among the celebrants was Ida DePencier (seated, center), a retired teacher who at age 102 is a cherished member of the Lab Schools family.
