Alumni board seeks nominationsNominations are being solicited for the Alumni Association's Board of Governors. The alumni board sets policy for the association and advises the University on matters of interest to alumni. Candidates selected by a nominating committee, chaired by Richard Bechtolt (A.B.'46, A.M.'50), will be submitted to the Board of Governors for election to two-year terms at its April meeting. In reviewing the nominations, the committee will try to ensure that the board is as fully representative of the alumni population as possible by taking into account such factors as geographic location, academic degree and date of graduation. Nominations should include a one- or two-paragraph description of the nominee and should outline the nominee's past service to the University. Nominations, due no later than Thursday, Feb. 15, should be sent to Mary Ruth Yoe at the University of Chicago Alumni Association, 5757 S. University Ave., Chicago, Ill. 60637.
