    Physical Sciences Teaching Prizes awarded to three grad students

    Three graduate students have been awarded the 1995 Physical Sciences Teaching Prizes. This year's prizes went to Jeffrey Jewell, Astronomy & Astrophysics; Todd Rowland, Mathematics; and Melissa Troester, Chemistry.

    The Physical Sciences Teaching Prizes, sponsored by the Physical Sciences Division and the Physical Sciences Collegiate Division, are awarded each year in recognition of exceptional teaching of undergraduates by graduate students. Each winner receives $500. Nominations are submitted by students and faculty members.
