    Klass appointed Director of Auxiliary Services

    Stephen Klass, former director of business affairs and operations at the University of Rochester, has joined the University as Director of Auxiliary Services.

    As Director of Auxiliary Services, Klass will oversee the operations of the Bookstore, Printing Services, the University's shuttle-bus services, parking, licensing, vending and the soon-to-be-established Campus Card Office, among other areas. He will also advise and consult on business issues.

    Klass joined the staff at the University of Rochester in 1988 as general manager of cash operations. He became assistant director for business affairs in 1989 and director of business affairs and operations in 1992. He previously was food and beverage director at The Lodge at Woodcliff in Rochester, N.Y., and a managing partner of Elm City Restaurant Group Inc. in New Haven, Conn.

    He received his B.A. in 1975 from Hobart College and his M.S. in higher-education administration in 1994 from the University of Rochester.
