    Coetzee lecture at 8 p.m. tonight

    Novelist J.M. Coetzee of South Africa will present "Offending and Being Offended," a lecture that explores the issue of censorship, at 8 p.m. tonight, April 27, in Max Palevsky Cinema. The lecture is free and open to the public.

    Coetzee, who is visiting campus as a Regents Park Visiting Scholar in the Arts and Social Sciences, is the winner of Britain's 1993 Booker Prize and author of the recently published novel The Master of Petersburg. He is professor of general literature at the University of Cape Town.
