Summer program for teens at UT

A complete theater experience -- from costume and lighting design to acting, improvisation and script writing -- awaits participants in the University Theater Summer Drama Workshop. The workshop, for students ages 11 to 15, will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday from June 19 through Aug. 3.

The seven-week workshop, which is limited to 30 students, will culminate in an informal improvisational comedy revue and two performances of an original or classic work. Students will also have the opportunity to work on UT's summer-quarter productions.

The fee is $450 ($425 for students registered in the morning Lab Schools or Athletics Department programs) and includes a T-shirt, all workshop materials and tickets to UT's summer production in Hutchinson Court. A few scholarships are available.

To obtain a registration form, or for more information, call 702-3414.
