Caption: Walk on the wild side

University graduate student Hans Larsson and recent graduate Gabrielle Lyon help reconstruct the skeleton of Afrovenator, a predatory meat-eater that roamed the African continent from 145 million to 65 million years ago. The skeleton is part of the Crerar Library exhibition "A Walk With an Expedition," which chronicles the 1993 dinosaur-fossil hunt to Niger led by Paul Sereno, Associate Professor in Organismal Biology & Anatomy.
