    Winter Convocation March 17

    Winter Convocation ceremonies will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, March 17, in Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Approximately 370 degrees will be conferred. Wadad Kadi, Professor and Chairman of Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations, will present the Convocation address, "The Dialogue Between Civilizations."

    Degree candidates should enter the chapel through the east carriage door and proceed to the undercroft. Candidates not present in the undercroft at 2:15 p.m. will not be permitted to march.

    The main doors of the chapel will open at 2:15 p.m.; no guests will be admitted before then.

    Tickets for Convocation must be claimed in person. Beginning Monday, March 13, they may be picked up at the Dean of Students' Office for the candidate's division or school or at the College Advisers' Desk. Candidates who ordered attire by March 3 may pick up their gowns in the west lounge on the second floor of Ida Noyes Hall between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16, or between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday, March 17.
