    Service in memory of Blum

    A memorial service in honor of Walter J. Blum (A.B.'39, J.D.'41), the Edward H. Levi Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus in the Law School, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, in the Glen A. Lloyd Auditorium at the Law School. Blum, one of the nation's leading authorities on taxation, insurance, bankruptcy and corporate reorganization, died Dec. 18 in his Hyde Park home. He was 76.

    Speaking at the memorial service will be Douglas Baird, the Harry A. Bigelow Professor and Dean of the Law School; David Coggins, Blum's son-in-law; Hanna Gray, President Emeritus and the Harry Pratt Judson Distinguished Service Professor in History; Christian Kimball (J.D.'83), associate professor at the Boston University School of Law; and Edward Rosenheim, the David B. and Clara E. Stern Professor Emeritus in English Language & Literature.
