    Suspect in carjacking released

James Pugh, a suspect in the Nov. 23 carjacking of the vehicle of a Hyde Park woman who was later found murdered, has been released from police custody, according to Robert Mason, Executive Director of the South East Chicago Commission.

Police are currently following new leads and are optimistic about solving the murder of Elsie Orlinsky, 80, Mason said. Orlinsky was seen being forced into her car, which was parked near Lake Park Avenue in the Hyde Park Shopping Center, on Nov. 23.
