Police & Security

Rudolph Nimocks has been named Executive Director of University Police & Security Services, and Donald Futrell has been named Director of Security for the Hospitals.

Nimocks, who has been Director of the University Police Department since 1989, will now oversee all security operations at the University and the Hospitals. He will also continue to direct the University Police Department. Security operations at the Hospitals will be directed by Futrell.

Before coming to the University, Nimocks served the Chicago Police Department for 33 years as an officer and a deputy superintendent. Futrell was most recently director of campus security, patient transportation and telecommunications at Michael Reese Hospital & Medical Center. He previously had been security manager for Loyola University Medical Center from 1980 to 1992.
