U OF C On the Air: WTTW programs to feature Sereno expedition

The recent expedition led by Paul Sereno, Associate Professor in Organismal Biology & Anatomy, will be the subject of two upcoming PBS programs on WTTW/Channel 11.

An interactive educational teleconference with teachers and students at thousands of schools across the nation will be broadcast live from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14.

In the season premiere of "The New Explorers," producer Bill Kurtis' crew follows Sereno and his team through the travails and triumphs of the expedition in the documentary "Skeletons in the Sand." The program will air at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, and again at 10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24.
