Obituary: Oliver Rampersad

A memorial service will be held for Oliver Rampersad (Ph.B.'46, S.M.'54, Ph.D.'61), a retired staff member of the Hospitals' Clinical Chemistry Laboratory, at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, in Bond Chapel. He died July 8 at the Hospitals.

A University employee for 32 years, Rampersad conducted research in microbiology, virology and immunology before retiring in 1986. He was a native of Trinidad, West Indies.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Snellings Rampersad, department administrator in Economics; and a daughter, Gita.
