Library book sale this month

A public sale of duplicate and discarded books and periodicals will be held in Regenstein B-1E from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays from Monday, May 16, through Monday, May 23.

Approximately 7,000 volumes will be on sale. On the opening day, unmarked hardbound books will be $10; paperbacks and phonograph records will be $5; and periodicals will be $1. Prices will be reduced each day of the sale until Monday, May 23, when all remaining items will be free. The prices of individually marked books will be constant throughout the sale.

Purchases will be limited to 20 titles per person per day during the first three days of the sale.
