Added service in East-West bus route

Additional service is being offered on the East-West bus route on a trial basis during spring quarter.

Nine additional runs will cover the route, extending the morning service through lunch time and beginning the return service earlier in the afternoon. The additional runs will start from 55th Street and Cornell Avenue every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 59th Street and Stony Island Avenue at 3:30 and 4 p.m. Ridership during these times will be monitored to determine whether permanent additions to the route are warranted.
