U of C night at Comiskey Park

President Sonnenschein will throw out the first pitch at University of Chicago Night at Comiskey Park on Monday, May 9. University faculty, students and staff are encouraged to wear maroon to the game, in which the White Sox will play the Seattle Mariners. Game time is 7:05 p.m. A University vocal group will open the evening with a performance of the national anthem.

All White Sox tickets will be half price on May 9; U of C seats have been reserved in the lower deck boxes, the lower deck reserved, the upper deck boxes and the bleachers. Blocks of seats, with individual tickets ranging from $5 to $9, will be on sale from Monday, April 4, through Friday, April 29. Tickets may be purchased in the fourth-floor business office of the University Bookstore or in the bookstore in the University's Downtown Center, 450 N. Cityfront Plaza; payment may be made by cash, check, Visa or Mastercard or with a University 62 Form. Mail orders will be accepted for a 50-cent handling fee. Bus service will also be available from the University to Comiskey Park. Bus tickets are $4.25 and may be purchased at the locations listed above. For more information, call 702-8729.
