Wilson Pierce has been appointed Assistant Director of University Police. As Assistant Director, Pierce is responsible for Hospitals security. "Wilson Pierce brings a wealth of experience in public safety and law enforcement to the University. He is a welcome addition to the Hospitals and to the University of Chicago Police Department," said Rudolph Nimocks, Director of University Police. An Illinois State Police officer for 20 years, Pierce was a commander of the criminal investigations division and of the internal investigations division.
