    Party! Party! Party!

A lineup of activities as lively as a New Orleans parade is planned for a Mardi Gras party to be held Friday, Feb. 25. The party, which is free and open to the University community, will take place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in Ida Noyes Hall. Costumes are encouraged.

Live music will fill the first floor of Ida Noyes, with Mississippi Heat, named Best Band at the New Orleans Jazz Festival two years in a row, performing in the Cloister Club and Mojo and the Bayou Gypsies performing in the library. The third-floor theater will be transformed into a dance club, complete with deejay, and fortune tellers and tarot-card readers will be stationed throughout the building. Mardi Gras masks, party favors and beads will be given to all guests.

The party is sponsored by the Council on University Programming and the Student Alumni Association. For more information, call the Student Activities Office at 702-9554.
