William Julius Wilson, the Lucy Flower University Professor in Sociology and the Irving B. Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies, confers with Mayor Daley at the second symposium of the Chicago Urban Partnership Program, held Tuesday in Ida Noyes Hall. The symposia are an outgrowth of research conducted at the Harris School's Center for the Study of Urban Inequality, of which Wilson is Director, to find solutions to pressing urban problems.
