Inventory can help in choosing career

Throughout January, Career & Placement Services (CAPS) is offering students the opportunity to take the Strong Interest Inventory. The inventory helps students think about career options by comparing their interests with those of the population in general and successful people in a variety of occupations.

Inventory forms are available in Reynolds Club 200. Completed inventories must be returned no later than noon Thursday, Jan. 27. The fee is $6, which covers the cost of computer scoring.

The results of the inventory are presented in a profile and will be returned at a workshop at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, in the north lounge of Reynolds Club. At that time, the profile will be interpreted and participants will have a chance to ask questions about individual profiles and about the inventory in general. Individuals who are unable to attend the workshop may pick up their profiles any time after the workshop in Reynolds Club 200.

For more information, call CAPS at 702-7040.
