    Business functions reassigned

President Sonnenschein has reassigned on a temporary basis the responsibilities for the various areas of the Office of Business Operations & Facilities. In addition, issues of new and renovated space will be handled by a University Space Committee, which is chaired by Provost Geoffrey Stone.

    Under the interim arrangement:

_ Facilities Planning & Management, including the Plant Department and the Office of Safety & Environmental Affairs, reports to Arthur Sussman, General Counsel and Vice President for Administration.

_ Risk Management reports to Lawrence Furnstahl, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

_ The Printing Department and the University Bookstore report to Henry Webber, Associate Vice President for University Human Resources Management and Administrative Planning.

_ Real Estate Operations reports to Jonathan Kleinbard, Vice President for University News & Community Affairs.

These arrangements were made after Alexander Sharp stepped down as Vice President for Business Operations & Facilities to enter the Divinity School as a full-time student beginning this quarter.
