Five new vice presidents at Hospitals

Five University Hospitals administrators -- Roberta Bender, Jeffrey Finesilver, Kenneth Kates, JoAnn Shaw and Gail Wilson -- have been named Vice Presidents.

The appointments represent a renewed emphasis on improving the day-to-day operations of the Hospitals, said Sandra Harden Austin, Executive Vice President of the Hospitals.

"I feel very strongly that if we are to grow, thrive and compete in what is rapidly becoming a managed-care environment, our internal operations must be impeccable," Austin said. "In these appointments, we recognize the five individuals for their excellent contributions to the life of the Hospitals in the past and look forward to continued excellence in the crucial role they will play here." ROBERTA BENDER (M.B.A.'80) Vice President, Finance & Information
