    Poskanzer appointed Executive Assistant to President

    Steven Poskanzer has been appointed Executive Assistant to the President.

    Poskanzer comes to Chicago from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named Assistant General Counsel in 1985 and Associate General Counsel in 1988. He was also a lecturer in the university's graduate school of education. Poskanzer was an American Council on Education Fellow for the 1991-92 academic year, during which time he served in the Provost's Office at Princeton. Before going to Penn, Poskanzer was an associate with the Washington, D.C., law firm Arent, Fox, Kintner, Plotkin & Kahn.

    He received his A.B. in 1980 from Princeton and his J.D. in 1983 from Harvard.
