Auditions through Oct. 4

Auditions for all of the Music Department's extracurricular performance organizations--University Symphony Orchestra, University Chamber Orchestra, University Wind Ensemble, University Chorus, University Motet Choir, Collegium Musicum, New Music Ensemble and chamber music ensembles--and for other performance opportunities are being held through Monday, Oct. 4.

The Music Department's performance groups present over 80 concerts each year, encompassing a wide range of musical repertoire and concert formats. Professional coaching and master classes enhance the performance program. Membership in all University performance organizations is open to students, faculty and staff of the University as well as community members and other interested musicians. In the case of sections or ensembles with limited seating, preference will be given to qualified musicians who are students at the University.

Appointments to audition may be made in person at the main office of the Music Department on the third floor of Goodspeed Hall or by calling 702-8484.
