Summer Convocation is Friday, Aug. 29

The University will hold its 495th Convocation at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29 at Rockefeller Memorial Chapel.

Candidates may begin lining up at 1:45 p.m. in the Cloister Club in Ida Noyes Hall, 1212 E. 59th St. Guest seating will open 30 minutes later on a first-come basis. Each degree candidate is entitled to four guest tickets, which may be picked up in Dean of Students offices beginning Monday, Aug. 25 (Tuesday, Aug. 26 for the College). All guests, including children, are required to have a ticket.

Following the ceremony, graduates and their guests are invited to a reception at Ida Noyes Hall. The Graduate School of Business also will hold a reception at the Charles M. Harper Center, 5807 S. Woodlawn Ave.
