    Encouraging academic success

The University-Kenwood Academy book prize ceremony took place Friday, June 27 at the School of Social Service Administration, where the University awarded books to 10 students. Duel Richardson (above), Director of Neighborhood Relations and Education for Community Affairs, shows Kenwood student Li Yu Mei her prize—an autographed edition of David Bevington’s complete works of Shakespeare. Two other juniors received the book, while four sophomores earned a historical atlas and three freshmen earned a thesaurus. Tyler Brooks (right) is all smiles prior to being named a winner.
