Amelia Yang, Patrick Diehl and Sam Merkel, members of the Arbitrage team, participated in the inaugural University of Chicago Stock Pitch Competition earlier this spring. Ten teams competed in front of a panel of judges for a $1,000 prize and the chance to participate in the national Stock Pitch Competition, held at Cornell University. The Nano team, composed of Alan Tsui, Theodore Lam and Irene Kwok, won the University competition, which was sponsored by the student group Blue Chips and JP Morgan.
