Peirce to visit campus to promote new film
Kimberly Peirce (A.B. ’90) will answer questions following a screening of her new film Stop-Loss at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the Max Palevsky Cinema. The film stars Ryan Phillippe as a young Iraqi war veteran who returns home, only to be disrupted by a stop-loss order from the Army. Peirce co-wrote and directed the 1999 film, Boys Don’t Cry, starring Hilary Swank, who won an Oscar for best actress for her lead role in the film.
