    Meeting on transit issues is tonight


    Members of the University community and residents of Hyde Park and the surrounding neighborhoods are invited to provide input on a joint strategic planning project of Metra, the Chicago Transit Authority, the Regional Transportation Authority and PACE to improve and expand mass transit in northeastern Illinois.

    Representatives of the city’s transportation agencies will sponsor a community meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, in the Assembly Hall at International House, 1414 E. 59th St.
