    Teachers of teachers

On Thursday, Nov. 9, a special group of faculty members gathered at International House to review the activities of Provost’s Teaching Week, which began Monday, Nov. 6. Chosen this year to share their teaching methods with others on the faculty, the six professors who taught courses that could be observed were: Orit Bashkin, Assistant Professor in Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations; Gary Becker, University Professor in Economics; Ayelet Fishbach, Associate Professor of Behavioral Science in the Graduate School of Business; Henry Frisch, Professor in Physics and the College; Randal Picker, the Paul and Theo Leffmann Professor in the Law School; and William Veeder, Professor in English Language & Literature. Provost Richard Saller initiated the program last year as a way to showcase excellent teaching practices among faculty.
