More than 800 government, business, community and higher education leaders from Illinois attended a dinner Thursday, Sept. 14 to honor the return of Robert Zimmer to Chicago, where in July he became the 13th President of the University of Chicago. James Crown (above), Chairman of the Board of Trustees, introduces Zimmer to his guests. The event, which took place in the Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier (above) included a reception, a dinner and speech by President Zimmer. Below, Zimmer visits with some of the guests in attendance.
