Behnke returns to Enrollment full-time, search begins for University Relations V.P.

Michael Behnke, Vice President and Dean of College Enrollment, who since early 2004 has also served as Vice President for University Relations, has returned full-time to his role overseeing the work of the offices of College Admissions and Financial Aid.

“We are indebted to Michael for the selfless way that he accepted responsibility for University Relations,” President Zimmer wrote in a memo to deans and officers. “I am especially grateful he is eager to recommit his energy to the enrollment area. It will be among our high priorities to continue improving the University’s admissions efforts, and Michael’s leadership will be central to our success in this arena.”

“I have greatly enjoyed working with the University staff members around campus who do communications work,” said Behnke.

“We reached a consensus on the value of a more coordinated communications program, which requires a full-time leader. Now I look forward to giving my undivided attention to meeting new challenges for College admissions and financial aid.”

David Greene, Vice President for Strategic Initiatives, will oversee the search process for a new Vice President for University Relations.
