From A to Z, who will they be?

From A to Z, letters of acceptance into the College, for those who will make up the Class of 2010, are prepared to be mailed. By now, students have received their letters and are making their final decisions. Said Ted O’Neill, Dean of College Admissions, “We think this group of admitted students will be the most diverse and talented and ‘Chicagoan’ of any admits in recent memory. Those of us who have spent the past few months reading the applications cannot wait to meet some of these wonderful students in the course of their visits this April.”

Mail carriers Askarae Al-Amin (above in foreground) and Tyrome Merriweather collect the bins of acceptance letters being sent out to students who will find out if Chicago will be their new home for the next four years. Letters went out at the end of March, and the Office of College Admissions should soon be hearing from prospective students to make their final decisions.
